I am a semi-retired snowbird, spending my winter in the Phoenix area. My schedule is pretty much completely open. I am used to waking up and immediately walking Hondo for at least a ½hr.

My dog, Hondo is an old man now, so mostly he likes to spend his time in bed after his walks. He's super social with other dogs and has never been aggressive. I will have him with me, but I'll also have my truck camper where we both live. ,.so if your dog isn't as social as Hondo is then he is just fine relaxing in his bed in the camper.
A typical day
I have no issues walking your dog twice daily as I'm used to doing the same with my dog. If a dog likes to play with balls or tug of war, I love that too.

I have had cats and dogs my whole life, I have also raised chickens and rabbits. I am used to walking my dog a mile+ a day, so there will be no issues if your dog likes long walks.
