Pet care experience
We had dogs when I was a kid. I would take care, feed, and walk them. I also house sat and watched dogs and cats in high school. I have also helped roommates with their cats; take care of them as my own.

Jake is not a normal, independent, or aloof cat. He’s more Golden Retriever, less Ragdoll, which means he needs lots and lots of attention. Nichole was the perfect person to care for Jake while we were away. She cared for our little old man probably better than we do, if I’m being honest. We came home to an impeccably clean house and pampered kitty. While we were away she kept us up to date with messages and photos. I know how much Jake loved her because for three days after we came home and she had gone, he sat outside our spare bedroom and cried for her. It was precious. We told him his girlfriend would be back, and we hope she will.
My babies were relaxed. Nichole brush both cats each night and spent the full time playing and providing company to them. I will use her again for sure.
My three senior cats were very happy and doing well when I got home from my holiday trip. They were definitely less angry at me for leaving as opposed to other times, so I can only assume that is because Nichole gave them so much love and attention!
Nichole stayed in my home and took loving care of my cat, Lily. She is trustworthy, reliable and very sweet!

I take cues from the cat and go from there. I like to feed them, change the water, clean the litter box, vacuum, and see if they need anything else. If they want me to spend more time in their space, then we can play with the laser pointer, feather wand, try different toys, cuddle etc.

It would be helpful to know if the dog needs any medication or likes certain toys/activities. If I should watch out for specific behaviors or do something extra since their routine is slightly different and they may need additional reassurance.
A typical day
If I'm taking care of a dog, then we can play fetch or spend time at the dog park. I like to go hiking in my spare time so could also go on hikes together.
