Información que a Nefertari C. le gustaría saber sobre tu mascota

If your dog is aggressive, bites, sick, doesn’t do well with other animals, scared of strangers, certain noises, barks a lot, destructive of furniture or clothing items, or if they pull the leash a lot when walking, please let me know before we agree to arrange anything. For example, if your dog has a habit of pulling the leash during walks and your dog is big, this would be important to know before I agree to walk them.

There are several parks, and dog runs, in my neighborhood and in neighborhoods close by where we can go. I live 2 blocks away from Sternberg Park, about 10 minutes away from McCarren Park, and about 25 minutes away from East River State Park. I also have some dog toys. I will take your dog out at least 3 to 5 times a day, or more if they are a younger pup.

The Best Pet Sitter There Is!

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas

You can rely on me to take care of your pet because I love animals. I’ve owned animals for as long as I can remember. I have owned cats, dogs, birds, and have loved them all. I don't take the bond that someone can have with an animal lightly; I will pay extra close attention to every animal I care for. Your dog likes to eat stuff off the floor? Got it. I always have my eyes open to minor details. I currently own one cat, who is 2 years old and I have been taking care of her since she was around 4-6 weeks old. I also have a puppy who I’ve been taking care of since she was 3 months old. I have experience with younger and older animals. My schedule is very flexible. Im usually open to any request that comes my way, since I’m currently home full-time. I have a lot of space in my home (3 bedrooms), and your pets are allowed on the furniture! I enjoy going on long walks, and I live in the perfect neighborhood for doggies to explore and have fun with me (Williamsburg)! I’m usually home full time so I can watch your pet 24/7. I usually keep them in my room with me and we chill together and then go outside around every 4 hours! There are several fenced areas in my neighborhood where I can put your dog to run and play with my dog! There are also dog parks.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dog sitter. I thought maybe it was just a one off but I read the other bad review and can ABSOLUTELY relate. I told Nefertari that my dog gets anxious in a new home. He’s a blind, 14yo senior dog so he might have an accident. I packed diapers just in case. She kept texting me that he was having accidents and asked for more money for maintenance. I’ve been a dog Walker/sitter for over four years and have never asked a client for more money. That’s absurd. When you take care of a dog., you take care of a dog. Still, I paid the extra money and wanted. Then she continued to say she can’t care for him anymore and that I needed to get someone to pick him up. I don’t know if this was some sort of scam to get me to pay the full amount and then she wouldn’t watch him the full time. I was out of state and couldn’t find anyone to get him so of course she kept complaining that he was having accidents and that I needed to come get him. She still refused to put on a diaper. I have been using Rover and Wag for years and have never experienced a situation where the boarder asked for my dog to get picked up. I will not be re-booking her and will definitely be contacting Rover about this. I did not appreciate this experience while I was traveling. I do not recommend booking this person what so ever. Extremely unprofessional.

I appreciate that she came through last minute for my puppies. They seemed like that they had a good times as well.

I have struggled a lot with the ethics of being honest here. On one hand she has other great reviews and perhaps my situation is a one off. On the other hand, it just wouldn’t be okay if what happened to me happened to anyone else because I didn’t speak up. I will just leave you with the facts: 1) Bailey was not comfortable in her home. According to her he defecated everywhere and often which is not his MO. I told her that he is clearly having anxiety and she said “not possible he is playing” and refused to try any solutions. 2) Judging by some photos I got it’s clear the house is a bit dirty. The tiles were not clean which might explain my puppy’s confusion about being able to pee on it? I don’t really know. 3) Unfortunately Bailey pooped and peed on her bed. I find this odd as he has never done this, he never does those 2 at the same time or place, and I was not able to get any pictures but I still paid her the requested $10 for laundry. To be clear she just asked me for $10 and only after asking told me why. 4) the next day I got multiple pictures of poo and pee everywhere like all over the house. She basically told me that my dog is difficult to take care of, barks all the time, doesn’t use the pads, and when told that’s not normal, instead of working to understand him and work with him, she replied “I find that hard to believe” and charged my $50 extra. 5) I immediately called Rover emergency who btw had great customer service. They informed me I didn’t have to pay 6) meanwhile this sitter started demanding I pick him up early which was impossible as I was in chicago. I spent half of my vacation day trying to find someone to pick him up. 7) I finally found a neighbor to help but they were working from home and asked for him to be dropped off. She refused to take him elsewhere unless I paid her $50. (Mind you all the pee was on her tile floor. A simple mop up.) And proceeded to threaten to call Rover and called me an indecent human. Saying she needed to deep clean her house and buy a new mattress. 8) once she called rover they too told her she couldn’t charge me like that so she consented to letting another sitter pick him up 9) When the new sitter picked him up she said he and his belongings wreaked off cigarettes and “old closet smell” to the point where they both had to be washed. 10) the sitter also said my Bailey immediately went to use the we-pads and walked to a corner and fell asleep. CLEARLY he was exhausted and stressed. 11) When I got home it became clear that she let her other dogs play with his toys which is certainly okay except the toys came back black, tattered in pieces with full missing parts, and with dried gunk on them. I sent him with his fave toys that all now need to be replaced. This included one of those $40 heart beating plushes. So I’m happy I didn’t acquiesce to her $50 request I’m sorry to have to be honest. Again maybe this was a one off. But it did happen and I’ve done my best to present the facts with no judgment. Make the decision that’s best for you. Maybe to a pre-care meet up?

Nefertari was very sweet to my kittie. She went the extra mile caring for him. I would definitely book her again.
