I am home almost all of the time, so your dog will have company. The dogs can hang inside, play outside, and be a part of my family. I live with my brother and he will also help care for the dogs when he is home. We live on a quiet road with very little traffic and have a very large fenced yard that ensures lots of play-time and off-leash fun for the dogs. I am happy to watch the dogs during the day (doggy day-care) or board the dog(s) for several days or as long as needed. The dogs must be dropped off at my home in Huntsville, UT. I am willing to watch dogs that are 100 lbs or under. If you have a larger dog, we can discuss. I will not watch dogs under 10 lbs, as they can get through my fenced yard. I prefer a meet and greet, or a short stay before watching your dog for a long period of time.

The dogs have full access to the main level of the home, which includes the living room, kitchen, dining room and outside yard. I will follow the instructions of the owner for feeding, but usually keep fresh chicken on-hand if the dogs aren't eating their typical meals well due to separation anxiety from their owners. I will sometimes use chicken as a treat too, or to help deliver medicine if needed. However, this is only if the owners permit this. Please bring dog food bowls, food, prefered treats, and comfort beds for your dog. Please also label all items with your dog's name. I am willing to give oral medication to the dogs, as needed and instructed.

Please let me know your dog's typical routine, their likes and dislikes, and their eating habits. I prefer meet and greets before long stays. If they take medication, I need to know the exact amount and how it is usually delivered. Please bring comfort items for your dog, including their food bowls, and ensure all items are labeled with their name. If your dog takes medicine, I have a gate to section off their food bowl from other dogs I may be caring for to ensure they get their medicine and eat their meals. Please also send proof of rabies and bordatella vaccination prior to your stay.

I will walk the dogs, play with them in my large fenced backyard - throw tennis balls for fetch, tug-of-war with a rope, petting their bellies, treats for tricks, etc. I will send daily photos or videos, and you will know your dog is having fun and being loved while you are away.

Hi, I'm Nathan. I moved to Utah in January 2026 and I have set up a doggy-day care and boarding business in the Ogden Valley. I have taken care of dogs for 5 years in Virginia, but have moved and have a large, fenced yard to care for dogs in Huntsville, Utah. My dog stayed in Virginia with my parents and I miss him a lot. Thus, I do not currently have a dog myself, but I used to care for my parent’s dog, neighbors/friends dogs, and the dogs of my extended family when they were away. I would be very interested in watching your dog(s). I am willing to watch up to 4 dogs at a time (although if my brother is with me, we will watch up to 6 dogs). Pet care fits my schedule perfectly, provides me the income I need, but I also love animals and am good with them. I am home most of the time, and they can hang inside, outside, and I will also walk them each day if the owner requests this. I have a very large, fenced back yard (an acre) where the dogs can run free, play and enjoy the great mountain weather in Huntsville. I have cared for dogs with anxiety, have given medicine, and have experience with senior dogs. Your dog(s) will have my full attention and feel at home in my home. I have a calm personality and dogs sense that and remain calm with me. You won't regret leaving your dog with me!!

This was the first time our 1 year old aussie was going to be away from us for almost two weeks and we were extremely concerned as he is very playful but did not have much experience being around other dogs. Nathaniel agreed to take spacial care for Bodey and separate him from other dogs if needed. We were getting updates with photos and videos multiple times a day during his entire stay! Mía is a very shy and easily frightened little dog, so I am extremely careful about who I trust with her. I recently had to take an international trip, and I was completely at ease knowing they were in Nate’s care. Throughout my trip, Nate consistently sent me photos and videos, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. It was clear that he wasn’t just watching them—he was genuinely caring for them and making them feel loved and comfortable. What impressed me the most is how much Nate truly loves my dogs, and it is obvious that my dogs love him right back. Seeing how relaxed, happy, and comfortable they were with him meant everything to me. Nate is reliable, caring, attentive, and treats pets as if they were his own family. Nathan is so amazing! He took the absolute best care of my girls cookie and Penny. Especially cookie who doesn’t often trust new people she warmed up to him right away because he’s such a good human. I got pictures daily and lots of check ins to help put my anxiety at ease. Nathan is kind, responsive and does such a wonderful job caring for our pups. I already have him booked again and will continue to use him as our dog sitter.
