When caring for pets in own home, will provide a range of services, including feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes or cages, administering medication if necessary, and providing exercise and playtime. May also provide overnight care, either by staying in the client's home or by visiting several times per day. When caring for pets in the client's home, will provide similar service but may also be responsible for tasks such as watering plants, bringing in mail or packages, and providing basic home security by turning lights on and off or checking that doors and windows are locked. Will usually schedule an initial consultation with the client to discuss the pet's routine, any specific care instructions, and any other relevant information. This allows me to tailor care to the specific needs of the pet and ensure that I can provide the best possible care.
