Pet care experience
I have been loving and caring for animals since childhood. As a young adult I worked several years in a grooming salon, bathing and caring for dogs and cats there, and growing in knowledge about various different types of pets. I have a special love for all dogs from Great Danes to Yorkies. I have been dog-sitting for family and friends for a while. Now that my 6 kids are older (ages 14-3) I’d love to offer pet services within our home to family-friendly dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks, great for walking! As I love learning about the various needs of my own children, I enjoy taking on the task of a dog's particular needs and how they need to be cared for.

Natalie and her family have been wonderful caregivers for our dog on multiple occasions! She is experienced, responsible, an excellent communicator, and she treats pets like her own! I never have to worry when our dog is with Natalie, as I know and trust she will give her the best care possible. I highly recommend Natalie to anyone looking for superior pet care!
Natalie was so great with our dog Ricky! He is a 1 year old Cocka-poo with lots of energy. He got lots of attention, plenty of exercise, and it was a weight off of my shoulders to know that Ricky was in safe hands! Ricky is so excited to go back and spend another day with Natalie anytime I’m away, he always runs right up to her door!

I do have a crate in our home to keep a dog safe from potential open doors when visitors come and food droppings during meals. I use a "double door" method (deck gate, locked storm door, garage door) in our home when I pet sit, as an extra pro-caution for dog safety. I keep our fence gates locked during dog sitting. I do have the ability to use a child gate to give a pet a designated room to stay in, but I also enjoy having a dog live as part of our family for the duration of the stay! I allow my children to help with pet-care if each client gives the approval. A note that we do have chickens that I allow to free-range twice a day, but can remain inside their fence during dog care days.

Although I am comfortable separating children and pets when necessary, I would prefer dogs that are known to be okay with children and cats. I'm happy to provide a safe place for my other pets (cats and chickens) if a dog is uncomfortable with them.
A typical day
We enjoy walking around our side-walked neighborhood and wooded trails behind our home. We enjoy playing games in our fenced in backyard as well as in our home.

Availability
As a homeschooling mom I'm able to adapt my day to whatever a pet needs. This can easily include a morning, afternoon, and evening walk, as well as other potty breaks if needed. Our family would love to take a break from schoolwork to play with a dog in our fenced in backyard or take a dog on a walk on the wooded trails behind our home.
