I have cared for pets my whole life. (First job ever (age 10) was providing daily care for my neighbor’s two pedigree Westies.) I grew up with a stubborn and strong Pitbull/Lab mix and am currently raising a rescued (read: anxious) and sweet Weimaraner mix. I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am accustomed to the city dog life with visits to the park as well as mountain dog life with daily hikes/visits to the river and everything in between. (My partner lives out west so I split time both places.) I have an easy way with most dogs and can often get even the most anxious, aloof, grumpy, or sad canines to romp in the yard and eat their kibble. I have a very flexible schedule because I am an Independent Artist. I love to find new adventures around town! I have a strong intuition about the needs of animals, and pay very close attention to their eating habits, disposition, bathroom regularity and energy levels. I have experience with both temperamental/territorial dogs who may require one-on-one socialization and private walks, and dogs who love to range through the park sniffing, licking and running with canines and people alike. Mostly just very flexible and happy to make your pet’s day a little better until you get home to them <3 I am allergic to most cats but can sometimes navigate this with medication / after meeting the animal. Occasionally a cat with shorter hair or who is indoor/outdoor is manageable for me.
