Pet care experience
Quiet house with a fenced in yard!
I have cared for my family dogs since I was very young - taking them to the vet, walking them around various parks and neighborhoods, grooming them, giving medications, and more. I also have experience working at animal shelters with dogs of varying breeds with various attitudes and care need. I am confident in my abilities to care for any and all breeds. Additionally, I have a plethora of experience with administering medication to dogs (my own takes pills daily) and caring specifically for senior dogs. I have an 8 year old retired racing greyhound. He is incredibly social with humans yet aloof with dogs. We live near Over-the-Rhine and University of Cincinnati in a small home with a gated back yard, across the street from a large green park. There are ~6 stairs up to the front & back of the house, and another ~12 to get upstairs to the bedroom. Mick (my grey) & I would love to meet your dog and make sure they are cozy while you're away. Unfortunately, I cannot host any high energy dogs, nor can I accept puppies or dogs under 18 months, as my senior grey does not have the extra energy for intense activity. Also, Mick definitely has "alpha" energy, so if your dog is usually top dog, they may not be a great fit. If you have any questions, let me know. Happy to schedule a meet & greet at a park if time allows.

Ratings and reviews
Morgan and her dog Mick were great hosts on a long weekend for my two elderly beagles. Both of my dogs require their own unique medications and care but it was no issue for Morgan at all. I will definitely seek her out again for our future boarding needs

Morgan was a great host! Our pup, Ghost, enjoyed his time. Morgan provided excellent communication and we would definitely recommend a stay!

Morgan did a great job with Pippa! We needed her very last minute and she enthusiastically took her on. She made sure my pup was well cared for when she got an upset tummy. Thanks so much!

Morgan was excellent with Timber. He is a big dog with separation anxiety, and she was able to give him his medicine as needed, give regular exercise and care, and send pictures each day. Mick is a great dog, and he and Timber got along great as well.

Very accommodating and made Heidi feel at home. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a dog sitter!
Morgan was a wonderful host for our greyhound, Tino! She understands greyhound behavior and needs very well and gave us frequent updates and pictures so that we had no concerns. We are so glad we found Morgan and I know Tino is looking forward to visiting again!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I start my day and end my day with time in the back yard with Mick. Sometimes we add on walks in the evening or at night. Mick comes with me everywhere, and your dog can too (if that's their thing). We frequently visit Washington Park to hangout and relax. I work full time, M-F, 9-4 and usually leave Mick at home during the day. However, my office is <5 minutes away and I can easily come home to care for your dog.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a cozy and organized home to keep your dog comfortable. I can accommodate dogs requiring crating if they are well behaved. Your dog is welcome to cuddle on the couch with me and mine, or hangout on the floor if that's their thing. My home is 2 stories, but your dog won't be required to go upstairs unless they want to. There are steps leading up to the house and down to the back yard.

A typical day
Mick's favorite pastime is walking around town and discovering new smells and seeing new things. We often go on long evening walks around the neighborhood. We love playtime (he is learning to fetch) and he always has plenty of treats.
