Pet care experience
I've had all different kinds of pets throughout my life (cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks) - and have lived on homesteads with farm animals too. Most recently I've been full time house and pet sitting over the last year while traveling. I have completed 24 assignments with glowing off the charts 5 star reviews. House/pet sitting has been one of the the most special things I've ever done. You can be sure your pup will get daily walks in local parks or trails, playtime in the yard or the dog park, and lots of cuddle time too - there will be no shortage of affection and attention. Please note that my two children do accompany me on overnight pet sitting assignments. They are wonderful with animals and under my supervision the entire time, though please be sure your pets are comfortable and okay with children prior to sending a booking request. Thank you!

We were so happy to find Monique! We say we don’t have children…but we do…they’re just furry. We’ve always worried about leaving them in the care of others…but we no longer do now we have Monique to care for them whenever we’re in need. We have 5 cats (2 with medical needs) and a beautiful rescue dog. Monique eased our concerns the first time she looked after our babies. When she walked through the door, Hilde (our dog), was immensely besotted and calm in her presence…and was shocked to see our usually standoffish youngest cat didn’t hide behind the sofa but sought Monique out. I always considered myself a cat whisperer…but I may have met my match! We were completely at ease when we left…but that continued by the photos and updates whenever we were gone. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Monique to give the best care for anyone’s animals…we just hope she doesn’t get too popular that she’s unavailable for us!
Monique pet and house sat for us last spring. She took great care of our two dogs (Theo - a standard poodle) and Penny (an Australian labradoodle), along w/our cat (Tiger Lily). She kept us updated daily while we were away, sent frequent pictures of our pets, took our two dogs on many walks in our neighborhood and on trails, and took excellent care of all 3 of our pets and our home. Her great communication and care allowed us to have a relaxed time away. We returned to a clean home, and happy, well-cared for pets. We would welcome her again to our home w/no hesitation.
Monique and her family stayed at our house for an entire month and took excellent care of our senior dog and young cat. She went above and beyond brushing our dog daily, giving her meds and taking her out for some sunshine. Her kids loved on our cat (who is still basically a kitten and a bit of a menace). I swear our cat was upset when we came home, and perhaps the dog too. The daughter built our cat a cardboard play box that he is still enjoying. The entire house and yard was well taken care of and it was wonderful to come home to a clean and organized home and very happy pets!
Monique is an amazing, attentive and very responsible pet caregiver. I can't recommend her highly enough. She watched our two dogs, outdoor cat, and 8 chickens for us for over a week and was absolutely amazing. She sent pictures and checked in often and we were 110% comfortable leaving all our babies in her hands. It was clear that they loved her and she went above and beyond. Truly, we can't say enough good things about Monique and we would trust her with our family anytime.

I'm a work from home, homeschooling mother. I have curated our lifestyle such that we have flexibility throughout the day. I always welcome an opportunity to get outside with your pups for a walk and play time. Please note that I do overnight pet sits with my two children. I supervise them at all times, and they are wonderful with animals, though please be sure your pets are comfortable and okay with children prior to sending a request for booking.
