Pet care experience
Leaving your four legged loved ones at home when you go on vacation is never easy. I strive to make sure they feel cared for and loved while you are away so you don't need to worry! I have over 18 years experience caring for animals of my own, rescue fosters, and shelter animals, and caring for others' pets while they are away. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience with cats, dogs, and small animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chickens, and more. I have cats and dogs of my own currently. Whether you are looking for a dog walker, a drop-in pet sitter, or a comfortable place to board your four-legged (or more or less) family members, I can be of service to you. I live in a single family home with a fully fenced in backyard, and a separate dedicated nicely sized bedroom dedicate to boarding. Whether I'm housing your pets or visiting your home, my goal is always to make them as comfortable and as happy as possible!

Monika was absolutely wonderful and took amazing care of Willow. Her pups are the sweetest companions to rover dogs, they shared their big back yard and couch with their new pal. Willow was sad to leave her new favorite place. We will definitely be booking with Monika again!

Monica has the kindest heart for animals and truly is a cat whisperer. When I was forced to move, I wasn't able to bring my cat with me. Monica took in my lil Raven without a second thought. It was obvious that Raven incorporated well in her care and thrived. Monica pays extra attention to not only the medical needs of the animals in her care, but also their emotional needs. If I had to have someone care for my animals, I wouldn't take a 2nd thought about who I would entrust in their care

A typical day
Wake up with wagging tails and run out in the yard, come in for some breakfast. Go back out for some more yard time or settle down on a comfy bed and enjoy some pets. We can play ball in the yard, cuddle on the couch, or window watch!

I am currently working part-time from home. I am available for boarding, walking, and drop-ins, on a relatively flexible schedule. I am also offering sitter pick-ups and drop-offs as a boarding add-on.
