We will love your dog like family!
I am a dog-lover. I have always loved dogs. My husband and I have two dogs, Baxter and Spencer. They are our children and the center of our lives. We have opened our home to other dogs throughout the years, and truly enjoy having extra dogs in our home to love. I volunteer at the SPCA, just to spend time giving love to dogs that are need of some attention. Your dog would be part of our family, and he/she will be very loved and very well taken care of while they are in our home. Why I love dog sitting I can't remember a time in my life that there hasn't been a dog. I have always felt a connection with dogs. I can't resist interacting with every dog that I see. I getting to spend time with all dogs - young & old, big & small. About my yard I have a large yard that is almost 1/2 an acre, the terrain is flat, and is not fenced.

After 2 unsuccessful bookings and unnecessary drama, I expanded my search area and found Mistie; everything happens for a reason as they say. She was amazing with Vader. Mistie was very welcoming when we arrived, invited us into her home while we discussed care, feeding, and all that good stuff. She sent pictures daily and I just knew Vader was in good hands while we were away. Vader had so much fun with them and playing with the other dogs, he didn't want to leave! He ran straight to the back yard and up the steps to the back deck, all to avoid getting in the car; he hates the car, bless his heart. I highly recommend Mistie and her husband Andy. They are a great team and we will definitely be booking again as long as they are Rover-ing. ❣️
Andy and Misty are wonderful hosts and really love dogs! Our Bella was taken care of as if she was their own. I highly recommend Andy and Misty for boarding and house sitting of your furry companions. Thank you both, for taking care of Bella Mae!
We were VERY satisfied with the care Misti gave our puppy Minnie. Minnie was very happy while she was there and she treated her like her own. I loved seeing the pictures while we were gone!!! We will definitely be using Misti again for our Minnie!!!
Amazing job taking care of my pup! I know she was in great hands and enjoyed every moment of her staycation. The house looks so inviting and spacious and included lots of built-in puppy friends and toys!
We are totally thrilled with the care and affection our Sadie received with Mistie and her husband. From the photos she sent, we knew she was having a good time. They played her favorite games and even got a smile for the camera; something we're usually unable to do. We finally feel we can spend a few days away from her and not worry. If you're looking for a sitter, I know you'll be happy with this family.
Misty is the best! My golden retriever is incredible shy and timid around most new people and Misty immediately made her feel so comfortable and personally cared for. Can't wait to bring Dakota back!

Here's where we'll take our walks We live have dog friendly neighborhood that does not have a lot of traffic. We walk our dogs through the neighborhood and there is a park nearby we go to, as well. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I like for you dog to sleep where they are most comfortable - their bed, my bed, the couch, etc. Wherever they are use to sleeping is where they will sleep at my house. Time I'll spend with your dog Since I am a school teacher, I am home all summer. Aside from grocery stores runs and such I will be with your dog throughout the day. During the school year, I will spend time with your dog in the mornings, evenings, and at night.
