I work from home and set my own hours so plenty of time for walks and play. Additionally as I am Dinky Dog's human I am obviously keyed into doggie needs and communications. I live next to a park so ample space for walks and stimulation. I can adapt to routine and requirements. Pet care forms part of my day already so another canine friend or two would just be more fun and a fuller pack.

The garden is well fenced in and the house in an area with lots of dogs. There is no way for dogs, even big dogs, to get out over or under the fencing and I always go out with them so they are well monitored and looked after. It is a medium sized garden so mostly used for outdoor play and morning pees with walks in the park and the playing fields forming the exercise part of their routine. I do like dogs to sit with me so I will either join them on the floor or make a blanket up for them to sit next to me on the sofa. When dogs stay I like them to feel like part of the pack so I will try to incorporate their habits and routines in with Dinky's and my own. The only stipulation I have is that they sleep on their own beds as dogs need rest and down time too. Having said that I will tuck them in each night and settle them down before the lights go out for night nights.

Information Mise W. would like to know about your pet
I adore dogs, all dogs in general and I will always try to help with any training or corrective behaviour work that your dog is going through so please make this clear when you get in touch. I brief run though of what their day looks like when they are home with you would be great.
A typical day
A typical day with me would involve two types of walks for your dog. A rapid one (the pace depends on your dogs capability) which provides exercise and an exploratory one where they can investigate their surroundings at a more leisurely rate. Play time will vary, a minimum of two times a day up to 4 times a day depending on how your dog responds and how much they enjoy it. Play time is usually about 20 minutes. Play can involve balls, tuggy toys or learning tricks. At all times I observe the general demeanour of your dog to ensure it is having fun. Touch time is also part of the day. Dogs groom each other in a close pack and so I take time to stroke, fuss and reassure dogs who spend time with me to help them feel included and at home. Finally rest time is something that I believe is essential for dogs as over stimulation can be counterproductive. Some soothing music and space is provided after settling the dogs into relaxed state.

Pet care experience
I speak dog! Or at least I try to. I have studied dog training and I love dogs!!! If I ever win the lottery I want a house full of dogs! Being lucky enough to have learnt lots of tips from a dog handler and dog trainer, and having lived with a working dog (a socialising dog who helped rehabilitate rescue dogs and nervous animals who had to learn to live around dogs) I am very aware of doggy behaviours. This is immensely helpful in helping your dog to settle into my house quickly and happily. I am also used to being around very big dogs (50 kilos) but the current house is better suited to medium to small dogs.
Reviews

Mise has a thriving business looking after dogs & speaks dog! If she is free snap her up immediately. She is situated in a lovely part of the world with ample choice for walkies. V flexible in terms of routine & impressive updates for reassurance. I hope to use her again!

Great communication and Raph came back his usual happy self. Would highly recommend.
Mise looked after our dog at short notice. She was professional and knowledgeable. Ruby seemed very happy and content with her stay and we wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I would 100% recommend Mise. She was lovely and welcoming to our dog. She was interested in getting to know her likes and routine and created a safe and comfortable space for her for the day. She kept me updated with pictures throughout the day which I loved to receive. Would definitely book with Mise again to look after our pooch ☺️
