I have been taking care of pets my entire life and currently I am a keeper aide for Zoo New England. Since I was a kid, my parents had eight dogs, cats, several rabbits, parakeets, cockatiels, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, geese, ducks, ferrets, and so many more household animals that I was responsible for and took care of. Also, currently, I am an intern for a zoo where I take care of exotic animals as well. I was recently nicknamed the ‘pet whisperer’ among my friends. I’m the guy at the house party who’s on the floor hanging out with dog. What sets me apart from others who take care of animals is I treat animals with equal respect and attention as humans, and am supremely empathetic to their needs.
