Dog Boarding in East Marquette
Young, married couple looking to board or walk dogs near our home. We both work full time as engineers, however, at least one of us works from home every day. We would love to have our own dog, but our work travel schedules do not allow for it. We each grew up in households with dogs and have spent the last few years boarding dogs through Rover. We focus all of our attention to 1 dog (unless you have 2 that come together), and never double book. Hope to hear from you and meet your pup soon!

Mike and Dallas were wonderful. We booked a dog care day with them with fairly short notice so we could take a kayak tour of Pictured Rocks. Ruger is a shelter dog and we can’t kennel him. At home, we have sitters come and stay at our house so this was the first time we have ever left him with unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar environment. He generally likes women but can be distrustful of men. We were apprehensive about how it would go. Ruger was immediately comfortable in their home and warmed up to Dallas right away when we dropped him off. Turned out he liked Mike too! They were responsive and sent pictures throughout the day and the big guy had a good experience. Very grateful to have found this couple to take care of Ruger for the day and would definitely recommend them to others.

We feel very lucky to have found Mike and Dallas on Rover! Our Gordie took to them immediately and ran up their stairs to see them after only meeting them once before! He was very comfortable in their home as proven by the photos they shared. We enjoyed a great day of golf and Gordie enjoyed a great day with his new friends! Highly recommend and have already booked another appointment!
Great experience! Mike and Dallas are excellent dog sitters and Mocha was very well cared for. We received daily photos and updates. Will definitely use them again.
Dallas and Mike took great care of my dog Izzy while I was in town to explore Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I’d leave izzy with them again in a heartbeat!
Dallas and Mike were awesome.. Sent lots of pictures and Tullulah loved them .

We have a medium sized home in East Marquette with an unfenced backyard. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the beach.

There are dog friendly beaches nearby and a great, safe neighborhood with walking paths. Would enjoy taking your dog for a walk during lunch break (12-1) daily.
