Pet care experience
I can not think of a time when pets have not been a major part of my life. I’ve been around dogs since I was a toddler and have not been without a dog since. I currently have a 2yr old border collie mix puppy and my mom’s 12yr old english bulldog at home. My dad also has a pitbull mix rescue that I care for frequently. I’ve cared for my titi’s black lab, beagle, and whippet mix rescue as well. I do have past experience pet sitting a mixed breed rescue and a Maltese cat for a friend on a weekly basis.

I currently live with my mom in a 4-bedroom home with a fenced in back yard, walking trails, and a small park. My mom loves dogs more than anything but her bulldog is particular about other dogs. My border collie gets along with any other pup and loves to play! In the past, I have usually cared for pets at the clients home or done drop ins.

A typical day
I love taking pups on long walks and going to the park to play frisbee or fetch so high energy pups are no problem. I’m also 100% happy to just cuddle with a pup in bed or on the couch (if permitted when staying at a clients home).

Availability
I am an instructional aide and retail employee with an extremely flexible summer schedule. As an aide I have the summers off and only work about 3-4 days a week in retail. I have tons of free time to care for fur babies!
