Pet care experience
***Currently raising a puppy and am unavailable for petsitting services other than drop ins*** I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking on Rover since 2022 and off of Rover since 2017. I have experience with different breeds including herding dogs, pit mixes, and small dogs. I have experience caring for puppies and elderly dogs with additional care needs. I use positive reinforcement training methods and will work to build a caring, trusting relationship with your pets. I typically take dogs on morning and evening walks. On days when I have more time, I love going to the river to play fetch, for a walk in Forest Park, or for a hike in the gorge or on Mt. Hood.

I had a great experience with Misha. She was professional and responsible, ensuring my 1 yr puppy was well taken care of for 4 nights while I was away. I returned to a very clean house! While I would have appreciated slightly more frequent updates, I realize I could have communicated my expectations more clearly. Overall, I would recommend her to others and would book her services again.

During the booking process, please let me know if your dogs have any behaviors or specific needs I should account for, how often they need potty breaks, and what their daily routines look like. Please let me know how many hours your dog is comfortable being home alone. I typically send updates/check ins once a day (usually in the evening). Please let me know if you would like more frequent communication.
A typical day
I typically plan to be with your pet for breakfast and dinner and take dogs on at least two 30 minute walks a day. If your pet needs cannot be comfortably home alone for up to 6 hours, my rates will be higher to reflect the additional effort I put in for more frequent check ins.

Availability
I am currently a student and my schedule changes each term. I will be resuming pet care in October and will post details about my schedule. I will likely have full work days Monday through Wednesday and will need to be out of the house for up to 8 hours at a time on each of those days.
