Availability
After the morning yard business time everyone gets fed in separate spaces. After breakfast there's opportunity for secure yard play, walks, and other activities your dog enjoys. Your dog is welcome to sleep wherever. I have crates available if your dog prefers to snooze in their own space, and blankets on the couch in various dog beds throughout the house. I work a flex schedule and am very occasionally in the office for a meeting. I work around the needs of the dogs in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dogs and their comfort & safety are my A#1 priority. Let me know about your dog and I can accommodate situations such as the following: - Martingale collars with backups, so if your dog is prone to backing out of their collar or harness during walks there's secondary security to ensure safety. - If your dog is able to join field trips there is a safety clip system in the back of my dog approved Subaru SUV. - The front door foyer is gated to prevent front door escapes. - The back/side yard is fully fenced in, and I have visibility into the yard from my desk. There are spare crates, blankets, bowls, and leashes but please bring whatever will let your dog be most comfortable, including treats or chews that agree with your dog's digestive system. If you have questions please let me know in messaging or at the meet and greet.

Information Michelle M. would like to know about your pet
A meet and greet is required, for everyone's safety and comfort. I am not able to accommodate aggressive dogs. If your dog struggles with making it outside for doing business please let me know, I can accommodate whatever is needed. If your dog needs medication be sure to note the doses/times/etc. (no extra fees are charged for this) I'd like to know if your dog receives flea/tick preventative.
A typical day
On better weather days/seasons the yard is sized just right for playtime and small enough that I can keep an eye on things. Indoors there is enough room for play, naps, etc.

A#1 Comfort & Safety for Your Dog!
Pet care experience
As an experienced K9 handler, caregiver and a lifetime of having dogs of my own, I understand the need to feel comfortable with where your dog is at and wanting to keep updated on how your beloved pup is doing. I also understand the need for reliable dog sitting and open communication. As part of my commitment to your dog's safety and comfort, a meet and greet is required before you leave your dog in my care so I can assure that all dogs are compatible with each other, and so you can feel comfortable as well. Residing in a small classic craftsman house with a classic Seattle fully fenced yard, and have two dogs of my own, so tend to not host more than 2 clients at a time (more is on a case by case basis). I am dedicated to giving your dog the attention and space they need. I leverage decades of experience in dog handling and care to ensure the safety and comfort of your dog's stay with me. I endeavor to make their stay more of a fun doggie resort experience than just regular boarding. Lots of play, snuggle, naps... I will accommodate their needs through tailored and collaborative care. I've worked with and around a lot of dogs, including experience with elder dog care - the inevitable phase we all end up going through - and have experience with puppies. I have enough room to create quiet space if needed and integrated play time for more active dogs. Through all ages and phases I meet the dog where they're at while remaining reliable for you. Please contact me, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible so we can discuss if my offerings and availability align with your needs.
Reviews

Michelle was amazing. It was so good to know that Ziva was well taken care of and having fun with her dogs!

Michelle is the perfect dog boarder for my special rescue shiba!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Gunner stayed for 6 days with Michelle. I got frequent updates throughout his stay. Gunner had a great time playing with the other dogs or lounging in the backyard. This is our second time using Michelle for doggie sitting, would recommend.

Michelle is the go-to dog sitter we have been looking for — truly a dream come true! From the moment we dropped off Elsa, we felt completely at ease. Michelle sent regular updates with adorable photos and thoughtful notes about Elsa’s behavior, friendships with the other dogs, and even Elsa’s clever AC placement strategy (smart girl 😅). Elsa clearly felt right at home, lounging with her new pup pals, sharing the couch, playing with toys, and enjoying her favorite treats. Michelle handled it all with so much care, intuition, and joy. She created such a warm and peaceful environment for the dogs — complete with cozy rest time, play breaks, and weather-appropriate accommodations. I could tell Elsa was relaxed, happy, and thriving the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for an attentive, compassionate, and truly delightful sitter. Elsa can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for loving her like your own 💛🐾
