Pet care experience
Both my husband and I have grown up having dogs and cats. From a little age, we’ve always been exposed to a life with pets! We have had our husky for 3 years now. Got him since he was a 2 month puppy. Trained him ourselves. So much so that he is off leash trained, calm and gentle. He even comes paddleboarding with us, or taking a ride on our adventure motorcycle. In the winter we take him cross country skiing. We go on hikes or walks everyday! We also make a point to bring him to the dog park in order to be used to playing with all kinds of other dogs :) we frequently watch our friends dogs and have even managed to train them too in the process!

Michelle and Kevin were an absolute delight to deal with and we will definitely be booking with them again!! They took amazing care of our dog on his walk and we are so appreciative!
She was great would use her again
It was our first time spending a night away from our pup, Loofah, but they made us feel confident and comfortable that she would have fun with Maverick. They even had a friends dog over and they seemed to love to play together. They sent us lots of pictures and gave us an unbiased opinion on what she needs to work on more, separation anxiety. We got returned a puppy that was ready for a nap which made me feel great that she got the exercise she needed. Would recommend.

We have a large 2 story house with a large fenced in backyard. We even have a dog door so that pets can go in and out of the house whenever they want. We have a 3 year old husky that absolutely loves other dogs. Whether it’s a small dog or a big dog, get gets along with everyone! We have lots of dog toys to play with. If your pet needs to be crated, then we have a crate that can be used as you’d like. We also make it a point to not have more than 3 dogs in our home at a given time (including our own dog), so that each dog can get the attention they deserve and to promote a safe environment and great experience.

A typical day
I usually take the dogs either for a walk along the waterfront. We live right along the Ajax waterfront so it has lots of beautiful trails. Depending on the dogs activity level, we either walk or we go for a run or rollerblade. Some days we go to duffins creek for a paddleboard and we bring the dogs with us. Most days we go to Greenwood or dog parks. We try to do at least 2 activities a day depending on the weather and the dog. We also have a dog door and a large fenced in backyard so the dogs can go in and out as they want to play outside or explore.

Availability
Between myself and my husband, and occasionally my sister, one of us is always home at any given time. This allows us to be able to take our dog for multiple walks a day. Or be adventurous and take him on the lake for a paddle and swim, or a hike in the conservation area!
