Pet care experience
**Note right now I do travel from north of Milwaukee, to Door County from Lake Michigan to Wisconsin Rapids area. I was born and raised with St Bernard’s, Irish Setters and miniature poodles as well mutts, ducks, cats, birds etc. I have continued to have pets in my life through my adulthood. The last of my pack of 5 has now past away. I love dogs so much I volunteer in the pet community and have a non profit to help educate, maintain and build off leash dog parks. Responsible pet ownership is very important to me. As someone who had a pack of 5, all sizes, breds and ages and health, understand the need to have someone you trust care for your pet, at least as good as you would!! Rescue, special needs and seniors have a special place in my heart ❤️🐾 I look forward to meeting you and your fur family!! I have a flexible schedule working remotely from my home. I usually know what I have to be in front of the computer for at least a week in advance and work around where I need to be and when. Because I work remotely I am able to stay with your pet. Let’s set up a meet and greet to get to know each other before you need my services. Your fur family is a priority. I love to share time with your family. If they want to play, or snuggle or just know someone is there. I am flexible.

Michelle was so accommodating and very organized. She sent updates every day and was so amazing with our puppy. She’s so knowledgeable and made us feel at ease since our puppy was still healing from his injury.
Michelle did a very good job with Kula, especially since he has never been left alone in a house with someone he was not familiar. Kula is a very energetic and distractible dog so taking him out on a leash, day or night, can take a lot of energy, considering there is no fenced yard. Michelle's demonstration of patience and understanding of how a dog thinks was admirable.
Michelle ROCKS! My dog Zozo was immediately at ease when we went for a meet and greet before the actual stay. When we dropped her off the day of our departure, she immediately went into the house and there was no shaking and clinging! Throughout her stay, we were texted pictures and sent updates on how she was doing. I am extremely happy and grateful that we found Michelle! She now has “auntie” status in our family!!!❤️

It is important to understand your dogs routine as well as any needs, medical conditions and meds, as well as toys, potty routines, etc. I would also like to know how your dog behaves when happy, relaxed and stressed. Understanding how is with new people and strangers will help me get to know them faster. My doggie first aid and cpr are out dated I am working on getting them renewed
A typical day
Activities vary with each dog I sit with and for depending on the dogs needs, wants and the owners. I sit for a pair of pups. One is high high energy and the other, well let’s say tummy on the ground is his favorite position. He is over weight and needs his exercise. We need to go slow and he needs frequent rests … ok he WANTS frequent rests so the high energy dog walks circles around him while he rests. I make it work for all. Walks. beach, cuddles, fetch, a car ride, just watching tv or listening to music, depending on the pup, makes for a fun time.

I work remotely the majority of the time giving me the opportunity to be with your pets the majority of the time. I also limit the amount of other families I care for at one time, so I can give more of my attention to your family.
