My Family bred Shelties. I worked as a Vet assistant in my youth and bred Finches! I wish I was an animal whisperer, but working on it. I do have local references from house/pet sitting for over 30 years. I have clients off site, in other states.

One house I sit has 5 outdoor cats, 2 dogs and 3 horses, a koi pond and wild bird and deer feeders. Each with its own needs between getting attention, food, medicines and exercise in their own environment, on their schedule. I'll take care of most any animal but never salt water fish tanks. They are too tricky for me.

Michele stayed in our home with our Havapoo Mitzy for a week. She is amazing! She took her on two walks daily, played and played with her and kept her entertained. She sent pictures and a daily update of what has been going on. She watered our plants when needed and left the house as she found it. I highly recommend Michele if you don’t want to worry about anything while you are away from home!
Oh my goodness, Michele is fabulous! She was incredibly kind and patient with my sweet 10 year old mastiff. No other dog sitter has ever made him feel so safe and comfortable while I was away. Given that he can be quite reticent with those he doesn't know, she took extra time and care to get to know him before the booking so he would feel comfortable once she arrived. Michele is an excellent communicator and sends lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay. It was so nice to see my dog become more and more settled and relaxed with each message. I was never concern or worried about my dog because I knew he was in the utmost wonderful care with Michele. And for the cherry on top, I came home to a super tidy home and a freshly made bed! Thank you Michele!
This was the 6th time Michele house-sat for our dogs. The pups love her, and we appreciate immensely the care and attention she gives them. Indeed, she will be house-sitting our dogs later this year and early next year. As usual the house was spotless clean on our return. She not only left the house as she found it, she also tended our bird feeders, took the trash out for collection, and collected our daily mail. Most important for our pups she walked them to their hearts content and stopped regularly at our local coffee shop/bakery for their donut hole treat. What could be better!

Schedule
My current work hours are flexible. Feel free to ask questions based on your needs. I do some freelance work, mostly on my laptop and phone. If you have wifi I can get most of it done while keeping your fur baby feeling safe.
