I have a beautiful golden Irish dog who loves to be outside and play with her toys! I take her to play dates at the local park and walk her through the woods on the weekends. If I am doing an overnight stay with your dog, I will make sure they have proper exercise and that we don’t stray too far away from their normal routine. I will take them on walks, ample play time in the backyard or park and will give them as much love and attention as you!

I will walk your dogs and I will play play play! I love throwing the ball in the backyard and playing their favorite games. For the older, less active doggies I will sit and pet and snuggle with them as long as they want!

I’m an energetic, reliable, and caring dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I currently have a dog and previously helped care for three dogs alongside my siblings, so I understand the responsibility and love that goes into pet care. I truly enjoy being outdoors—long walks, fresh air, and plenty of playtime are some of my favorite things, especially when shared with adorable pups! I have a special soft spot for senior dogs and make sure they receive the extra patience, attention, and affection they deserve. Every time I walk into a shelter, I wish I could adopt them all and give each one a loving home. I’ve provided drop-in visits and overnight care for neighbors, family, and clients throughout the DMV area, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. You can trust that your pup will receive excellent care, love, and attention. I currently have availability for consistent evening walking opportunities in my area and would love to help keep your dog happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I also own a cat and available for cat sitting as well.

Michaela was fantastic. This was our second time she has watched our medium-sized, high energy, slightly spoiled, girl. In addition to the routine sitting, which went well, our flight got canceled and she was able to stay with Birdie for a whole extra 24 hours, which was an absolute lifesaver.
Michaela is so wonderful with our Emmy! She’s patient with her (our dog is 1.5 years and still training), communicative about how our dog did on walks, and extremely reliable.

I booked Michaela for the weekend to housesit and stay with my dog. My dog can be reactive with other dogs, so I’m always nervous to leave her with new people. She did great with Michaela! Additionally, my flight back got canceled, and Michaela stayed overnight again and then my second flight got very delayed and Michaela was very nice to extend her stay and stay with my dog a little longer. Ensure she had gone potty and been fed before I got home since I was getting home very late. Additionally, the house was very organized and clean. I will definitely be booking Michaela again!!
