Personalized pet care at the Lake.
Whether your dog likes going on big hikes and adventures or curling up on a comfy couch next to a warm fireplace, we can provide that at our cozy cabin in the woods. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of public land where we can take your pup to stretch their legs. We also work remotely, so we are home most of the time to provide your pet companionship while you're away. We've taken care of puppies and senior dogs, big dogs, lap dogs, big dogs that think they're lap dogs, and all manner of pups in between. We also have experience with administering medicine and special diets. We are located near Seven Points and would be happy to take care of your dog while you visit the lake!

Giving a 5 star rating isn’t doing justice for the incredible, over-the-top love and care which Melanie and Mike gave our 2 golden retrievers for the 9 days they stayed with them!!! They shared many updates and pictures. They were great at reassuring us that they could help Chloe, who has anxiety during storms, get through the thunder that scares her - and they did! They are fantastic in providing exceptional care and they are excellent communicators. The next time we travel and can’t take our “girls”with us, we hope Melanie and Mike are available.
Michael & Melanie took such good care of my pup. He got lots of cuddles and LOTS of exercise on hikes. I received frequent updates and all kinds of pictures. He was a happy doggo with this family.
They took excellent care of our dog. He had a vacation for the weekend! They treated him with so much care. He was a part of their family, going on hikes and hanging out. They sent lots of pics and videos so we felt so comfortable and confident he was in good hands!! Thank you Mike and Melanie!!

Super last minute request to Michael and Melanie and they welcomed my dog with open arms. She got to do a long hike and was spoiled to oblivion. On my way home back to Philadelphia, she was passed out the entire time and that's unusual of her. Highly recommend and would definitely book again when I'm back in the area.
BIG thanks to Michael and Melanie for keeping Puca over Memorial Day weekend. It was a total vacation for him getting to explore the woods and play with Mojo!

Programa
We work remotely, so we are home most of the time. Our typical pet care routine includes a big morning hike, several bathroom breaks/playtime throughout the day, and another big walk/hike in the evening. We also love to take the pups down to the lake for a swim. Our schedule is flexible enough to meet your pets needs, whether that is a lot of exercise or a more laid back routine with short walks and lots of rest.

We have a big friendly Black Lab to keep your dog company while they stay with us. We have a dog proof house, extra large crate (and smaller travel crate if needed), and plenty of dog toys. We do not have a fenced in yard, but are surrounded by woods, trails, dirt roads, and plenty of space for your pup to exercise. We do have a fenced in deck for the dogs that like to just lay out and watch the birds and squirrels play in the yard.

We like to exercise our dog physically and mentally. A typical day includes a big morning hike, short play sessions and/or training sessions throughout the day, and another big hike in the evening. We also love to take the dogs down to the lake for a swim during the hot summer months.
