Loving and caring pet step parents!
We both grew up with dogs all of our lives! Mavis had her own chihuahua, Sasha, for 13 years, and Mike had taken care of his parents standard schnauzer’s full or part time throughout their lifetime. We no longer have pets of our own so we can dedicate our love of animals exclusively to your pet while they are with us!

This was the longest time Pancake has ever been left (9 days) and she had the best time with Mike and Mavis. She runs to their home any chance she gets and always so excited to see them. Mike and Mavis did a great job giving her medication, brushing her teeth and working on her physio exercises!

Michael and Mavis were wonderful! They suggested a meet and greet prior to our booking which really made things easier and smoother for my velcro little senior pup who can have a bit of stranger danger at times. Mavis sent regular updates and photos throughout the day and I could tell that Jelly was very well taken care of by how comfortable she looked snuggled up next to Mavis. I'll definitely be booking with them again and could not recommend them enough!

Mavis is working full time from home with flexible hours and Mike works in a hybrid work model so will be able to help out after work hours.

We have a small apartment on the third floor ideal for small and medium dogs and/or cats. Roomba makes sure nothing is on the floor for any pets to scoop up! We have plenty of parks nearby in Dows lake that make for perfect dog walking!
Un día normal
Start the day with a nice walk in the park to get the legs going with Mike, then after some breakfast Mavis will provide cuddling and ear scratches. After lunch, a quick potty break before some toy tossing inside the apartment, followed by the necessary afternoon nap. After the great nap, Mike will take them to the park by Dows lake for some fun, either running, smelling, tossing, you name it! (or well, more accurately, they name it!). Then some dinner and its time for another cuddle-sesh with Mavis and Mike watching a movie or reading a book just before lights out
