Pet care experience
My wife Lynn and I have been boarding and caring for dogs in our home for nearly ten years. We are familiar with dogs' physical and emotional needs and do all we can to make them comfortable and happy to be with us. We treat dogs as if they were our own. We provide ample time for walks as well as playful activities in our fenced yard. Napping on the couch or sitting in a lap is always an option!

Our senior black lab mix, Sookie, always has a great time with Michael and Lynn. Sookie loves them, their cute backyard where she can play and sunbathe, and their neighbor's dog who has become her pal. They are happy to give Sookie special care as an older dog with arthritis and pills to take.
They were very accommodating. They were very flexible when I changed the date and then changed it again. They send regular pictures and videos. My pup genuinely looked happy and healthy. I love love love them. Thank you for everything you did for my Lonny.

The pets that we care for are essentially unrestricted, but our space does have limitations. They live with us and our day(s) are centered around their needs and habits. We provide an enjoyable experience for one dog at a time but are happy to host two dogs from the same family provided that both dogs are not large breeds (weighing under 50 pounds each or no more than 100 pounds combined).

We require a "meet and greet" so we can know all we need in order for us to provide a pleasant experience for your dog. We are familiar with most of the different needs for different breeds but knowing particulars about your dog is always helpful.
A typical day
When your dog is in our care, it's all about "making sure our guests are happy." A typical day includes a variety of physical activities: walks around the neighborhood or through one of the local parks, lots of playtime in our fenced yard or a preapproved trip to the dog park. All outdoor activities are weather permitting. Dogs who stay with us are always "with us" even when we're all just sitting on the couch.

We are retired from our previous careers and can now avail ourselves to the business of full time pet care and pet sitting. Our schedules are very flexible.
