Cassie & Michael's Bed & Bark-Fest!
Looking for a child-free home with a yard and a friendly dog companion for your pup? You’ve found the right place! We have years of experience caring for dogs in Chicago, and we’re now looking to regularly host another dog in our home - ideally one who loves playing with other dogs. Our 6 year old Goldendoodle, Barnaby, is playful, loving, and always ready for a new friend! We’re especially excited about long term arrangements - watching the same dog periodically throughout the year. We find that repeat visits help us build a genuine bond with each dog. Your pup will be in great hands with us. We work from home full time, so someone is always here during the day. We keep a very tidy house (Barnaby has a history of swallowing small objects, so we’re meticulous about it), and we’re experienced with administering oral medication, so dogs with daily meds are no problem at all. We welcome all breeds, including pitbulls and other misunderstood breeds. Our yard is fully fenced, and we’re happy to go on long walks too. We’d love to shower your dog with walks, yard time, and all the attention they deserve! Send us a message if you’re interested to set up a meet and greet. They took care of my dog wonderfully. Sent daily pictures and truly seemed to enjoy taking care of my her. Additional plus is their puppy was a great playmate for my dog too. Would recommend highly! Also for what it is worth, my dog is a giant breed (Saint Bernard mix), so if they can handle her they can likely handle anything!
Dudley was very happy when I brought him home. He clearly had a good time and I'd definitely have him stay again.

Cassandra is amazing! She has been a great dog watcher for the last 6 months, staying at my home several times to watch my giant Newfoundland. She is very good about keeping me up to date while away, and clearly knows how to handle larger breeds with ease. I would definitely recommend her.
Both Cassandra and Michael have been absolutely WONDERFUL sitters to my husband and I's year old Goldendoodle, Payton. I fully and completely trust both of them staying at my house for days at a time. Payton absolutely adores both of them and gets SO excited when they come to dog sit. They did such a phenomenal job taking care of my little baby and I am an extremely overprotective dog mom. We LOVE Michael and Cassandra and are looking forward to them dog sitting for a long long time!

Schedule
We both work from home and will be able to keep an eye on your dog throughout the day. They will be a part of our daily walks and playtime with our own dog, Barnaby.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard and always supervise the dogs if they are outside to ensure they aren’t chasing squirrels or digging holes! We both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention and care. Plus Barnaby is always looking for a playmate! Barnaby has been known to swallow small objects, so we keep our home very tidy.

A typical day
We love to play with the dogs in our yard or go on long walks in the neighborhood! We sometimes will take the dogs in the car to walk near Cassidy Street Beach.
