Honest Homebody: Home All Day A-OK
I have done about 50+ petsits including 3 farm sits (MY FAVOURITE!) I love hiking, long walks and snuggling at home with the fur babies. I was outside of the US and have met clients outside of the app while traveling, that is why my reviews here are not recent. I can offer recent references from the past few months from my pet sitting clients. ❤️ I am still available to book here. I call the animals I take care of "my babies." I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I also respect the space and preferences of animals. I think about making them happy first, not them making me happy. I love long walks and making sure Dogs who need to run off leash, do so. I also love playing games like tug of war and fetch. I'm able to spend several hours per day to play with and excercise the Dogs. I research about each breed before I accept the sit and I now have experience with different breeds. I send photos and videos every day. You may have to tell me when you think it's too much. I filled up a lot of my memory on my phone and solid state drive with the pets I've taken care of, but I can't delete the photos. It's like deleting photos of your kids. Not possible. Excited to hear from you. I sure have enjoyed the love of pets and I hope to be able to continue enjoying caring for pets.

I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .
Ratings and reviews
Mia has my strongest recommendation. I am so grateful to have found her! She took wonderful care of my two pups, kept me up-to-date and calm while I was away from them for the first time, and went above and beyond in every way (she even helped with a pick up for a couch I sold). From the numerous pictures she sent, I could tell my dogs were completely comfortable with Mia and enjoying their time with her.
Mia was amazing with our pets and home. She provides lots of love, care, updates and photos. Happy pets all around when we returned. Highly recommend Mia :)
Mia was wonderful - our week long house sitting and dog sitting came at short notice, she was extremely responsive and communicative the whole time. Happy house (with flowers all around left by Mia when we returned) and happy dogs! Highly recommend
Mia has watched our puppy twice, and we would hire her again! She spent so much time with our pup, and follows any directions shared with her. She also sends many updates and photos, so we knew she was very well taken care of. Mia can also help with watching the house while you’re gone, helping with packages, trash day, watering plants, etc. and leaves the house clean and sometimes with flowers! ☺️
Leaving our dogs to go on vacation has always been the hardest part! We’ve always left them with family or friends but this time around we were unable to get anyone to come stay with them. Lucky for us Mia was available (and during the holidays)! She came over to meet our dogs and us beforehand and the dogs took to her right away. It’s hard to have someone you don’t know watching your dogs and in your house but Mia was kind and made us feel at ease. She was super communicative and sent us amazing pictures of our kids everyday! She spent an enormous amount of time playing fetch with them (we ask no one walk our dogs because they’re a bit nuts on a leash). I’m pretty sure she spoiled them with the amount of time she played with them outside and that they’re missing her! We also came home to beautiful flowers placed around our house and it smelling good. Thank you Mia for making what was a stressful situation for us that much easier and loving our kids as your own! We definitely recommend Mia and will be happy to utilize her services again!
Mia was an AMAZING sitter! She took care of our pup Laszlo at our home in Colorado while we were out of town for two weeks. It's clear she cares a lot about the animals she looks after. She sent us daily "pupdates" with lots of pictures and information, and we felt very confident that Laszlo was getting everything he needed and more. She took him for lots of hikes and walks, ran around with him in the yard, made sure he was eating enough (which he sometimes has trouble with), and gave him lots of love and attention. It was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders to know that Laszlo was in such good hands. We would absolutely hire Mia again the next time we go out of town!

Schedule
Amazingly. I work better when there are pets around. I already prefer to be home. I'm the type of person that reminds myself to go out of the house and be among people. The one thing I am good at is taking walks every day, so that habit also works well when I'm taking care of Dogs who like walks. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy.
