Please let me know of any past injuries or trauma your pet has experienced and any noises, smells, etc. that might be triggering. Also, if they act differently around certain people (male vs female, children vs adults) that can be helpful to know for any potential encounters during walks, etc.

When visiting a client, I try to mimic the activities that the animal is used to. Giving them the same routine they are used to can be comforting when they are experiencing stress or uncertainty while their owner is away. So if the dogs usually get walked on a certain route at a particular time of day, I do my best to continue that routine.

Hi there! I know the pain of separation anxiety when leaving your furr-baby behind, whether it is to go on an extended trip or having to leave them at home all day while you work….it can be so hard sometimes. That’s why I feel it’s extremely important to establish trust and clear communication so that you can rest assured that your furr-baby is in good hands. I’ll treat them like my own, with gentle care and attention to detail, and provide you with updates and photos to keep you informed. My experience includes volunteering at an animal rescue, training shelter dogs, fostering, administering all kinds of medications, nail trimming, and calming animals in distress. I love working with cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Please note, I practice careful sanitation procedures, especially when transitioning from one client to the next. I’m happy to wear gloves, mask, etc upon request.

Could not be happier with the care and attention that Mia provided for our senior cat. We got updates and photos everyday. The only issue is you need to be prepared for your animal companions to fall in love with Mia.
I highly recommend Mia L. for any pet sitting or dog walking. She is very dependable and our dog and cat love her! And that’s saying a lot because our cat doesn’t like many people in his old age! But she is quite the cat whisperer. Your pets would be lucky to have her loving care.
Mia is a wonderful, compassionate, responsible Pet Caregiver! She has a the gift of an “Animal Whisperer”, and years of experience. I highly recommend her!
