This was my first experience with Mia, and unfortunately, I won't be comfortable hiring her again. The two biggest issues were that when I returned my cat was very disturbed and scared and hardly recognized be when I entered my house. I have had another cat and house sitter and my cat was in no way disturbed upon my return. When I looked at the litter box it was disgusting, completely saturated with pee, and needed to be entirely changed out. This was only after a week of cat sitting. Mia left me a thoughtful note, though unfortunately, she mentioned that she "couldn't figure out how to remove the pee spots". If she couldn't figure it out, as she said, she could have simply dumped the entire thing, which should have been done at least several days earlier. How she managed to sleep in the bed, only 5 feet away at most, is beyond me. It also smelled like a rodent had died somewhere, and there was no mention of this at any time.
