Dog lover with a flexible schedule🫶
I've been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old, and I used to be my neighborhoods go-to pet sitter, dog walker, and babysitter (when I got a little older). I’m experienced at walking feeding and caring for most animals and love long walks especially with dogs. As a kid used to go to my neighbors and ask if I could walk their dog for fun after school. I have recently moved to Sweden from the US so I have no problems with dog commands in Swedish but, my Swedish is not perfect when it comes to speaking and writing. Now living in Stockholm I have a rather active lifestyle and enjoy spending time walking in parks and in town. I try to run in hagaparken 3-4 times a week and I have become familiar with my neighborhood's dog-friendly cafes, restaurants, and stores, and love to take dogs out for shopping days and when I meet with friends. However, if an active lifestyle does not work well with your pet I do not mind some quiet evenings at home with a good book when I get the opportunity. I love pets of all types and sizes and have fun meeting new pets whenever!

Mia was amazing with our dog! Laki stayed at Mia’s place for a week, and from the start, she showed great knowledge and genuine care, which immediately put us at ease. She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, so we always knew our dog was happy and well cared for. It was our first time using Rover, but everything went smoothly, and Laki came home happy and relaxed. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care and will definitely book with Mia again!

We couldn’t be happier with our dog’s stay at Mia’s! It was our first time using Rover and we had some concerns on how it would go, but we quickly saw it was a success. Mia showed a high level of knowledge and care for dogs in our initial meeting, and during the stay she shared regular updates on how it was going. We could tell our dog had a fun time and got plenty of attention and love. I also appreciated her ability to properly give daily medications to our dog without issue. Would give a sixth star if possible. Thank you again, Mia!
Mia took care of my cocker spaniel boy for one night. Communication was excellent and I felt confident in leaving my dog to her care. Would highly recommend her! 🐶

Programa
I’m a student at Stockholm University and I have 2-3 classes per week that switch between morning and afternoon. However, I am almost always free from 10-12 or 12-15 depending on which class I have that day. I try to hit 10-15 thousand steps daily and will offer your pet an active and engaging stay with me!

I always pay attention to my surroundings avoiding other dogs and busy areas when walking dogs that I am unfamiliar with. When near busy roads or areas with lots of cars and bikes I keep the leash short and the dog close to me to avoid any accidents. I also watch the dogs closely to avoid them eating things off the street. When at home, I keep it very clean and avoid anything on the floor that they could potentially consume andI never leave dogs alone for more than 4 hours max. Additionally, I have cameras set up at home for when I leave dogs alone, I receive notifications on my phone when there is movement or sound and I can even speak to them or start playing music if they seem stressed.

I love playing with dogs and taking long walks, especially in parks. A typical day for me consists of 2-3 shorter walks and one long walk or jog(1+ hrs). On days when I am not busy a trip to the dog park, or going out to meet friends (where the dog is welcome to join and will receive a ton of attention and exercise). Additionally, I try to run 3-4 times a week and love bringing dogs with me! Everything from fetch to tug-o-war and training whether your dog needs help with basic commands such as “sit” or “stay” to fun ones like “rollover”. I also enjoy taking dogs to meet new dogs in dog parks or with friends of mine who have their own dogs. I love to go to cafes, restaurants, and stores as I know many dog-friendly ones nearby and I have trouble leaving dogs at home when it is unnecessary. I also love to host so I very often have friends over for dinner or drinks. Additionally, I send daily updates with photos showing what our day was like so you never have to wonder if your dog is getting the care he/she deserves!
