I’ve always been very comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I previously worked as a pet sitter caring for a home with 7 cats and understand how important routine, cleanliness, patience, and attention are for pets while their owners are away. I also volunteer with Catsbury Park cat rescue and currently care for 6 cats of my own, so I have experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.

I always prioritize creating a calm, safe, and clean environment for every pet I care for. I understand how important routines are for animals, especially cats, and I carefully follow feeding instructions, litter box cleaning, medications if needed, and any special care requests. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and focus on making pets feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while their owners are away.

merlyn helped me with giving my dog her insulin shots because i couldn’t do it. she would also stay overnight with her for me and take her for walks when i wasn’t home!

Merlyn is a cat whisperer. She is trustworthy and loving. She took care of my cats for several years whenever I went anywhere, and she treated them like her own. I wish she lived closer, I miss her help and all around great energy. Five paws!
I can’t praise Merlyn enough. She was my personal cat sitter for years, and I always felt at ease leaving my pets in her care. She treats animals as if they were her own, and it's clear from the moment you meet her that she genuinely cares for them. Animals respond positively to her. Merlyn is someone who takes pride in caring for her animals, others animals and animals in the wild. She has taken care of family friends cats and dogs, takes care of 6 of her own cats and has taken responsibility for strays around her neighborhood by taking them in for TNR and feeds them. She is a true animal lover and will take care of someone else’s as one of her own whether it’s for a day or 2 weeks.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I already care for multiple cats of my own every day. I’m currently available Wednesday evenings, Thursdays, and Fridays for drop-in visits and pet sitting. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and always make sure pets are fed, comfortable, and given attention while their owners are away.
