My home is an outdoor dog preferred home. We have ample space in our yard to run around, a large kennel with walking space and a large crate. We prefer that the dog is crate trained and listens to basic commands as this makes for a much easier transition to any new environment. I would like to know how comfortable your dog will be with staying outside, how good they are with commands, and if they can be left alone without anxiety/barking. If your dog has allergies please let me know, and what kind of foods are okay. I hope your dog likes a big yard to play in 👍🏽

Melvin and his wife are great hosts and took great care of our dog. They have a big yard that allows for lots of play and exercise.
I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share my experience. Melvin agreed to watch my dog while I was out of town, but unfortunately ended up canceling the booking the night of the first day. This left me in a really difficult situation since I was already away and unable to physically pick up my dog. While I understand that it may have been a difficult situation, canceling on the first day without a clear emergency felt very unprofessional and extremely inconvenient. Traveling comes with enough stress as it is — having a sitter cancel last-minute after confirming the stay created a lot of unnecessary anxiety and scrambling. Just something to be aware of if you’re considering booking.
I feel very relieved to leave my Hatchi at his house. melvin is a very loving person.
