Melissa was able to take my dog in at the last minute when my previously scheduled sitter had an emergency situation and had to cancel. Melissa responded promptly to communications, and was even willing to offer transportation to and from her home. She provided a clean, quiet environment and was very attentive to my dog’s behavior. I am so grateful that she stepped up to care for him on a holiday weekend!

Melissa came to the rescue for us last minute on a holiday weekend and we couldn't have been more lucky! Our dog, Ella, took to her right away (she's a bit particular about people). Melissa took extra time to meet with us the night before and make sure we were a good fit for each other. She took time to send photos and was very responsive. Since we'll be visiting the area often over the next couple years, we would absolutely book Melissa again and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a calm, kind, thoughtful person to watch their furry friend!

I had Melissa come to feed and let Charlie out 2 times while I was at a wedding. She came a few days ahead of the scheduled visits to meet Charlie and he instantly was best friedms with her. Durring her stops she went above and beyond by playing ball with him and by taking him for a walk. She sent update messages after each visit. I would recommend her services if you need someone to take care of your pets.

Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.

After moving to a new state & community last year- I ran into Melissa while she was walking a neighbors dog and the rest is history. She is kind, caring and dependable. Melissa is a great pet sitter, she has sat for my cat as well as my whole house for extended periods several times in the past 4 years since I have known her. She is a very intelligent, creative, resourceful, artistic, capable and efficient person. She loves her great dog Marley. Besides these many talents she is very dedicated to other great hobbies like herbs and healthy gourmet cooking. we live in great proximity and have become great friends.
