I’ve taken care of family and friends’ pets since I can remember. I care deeply for pets and their well being. I have supported animals, not just my own, through health issues and helped rehabilitate 2 dogs after they experienced vestibular syndrome. I go above and beyond for our furry friends because I know their time with us is only a portion of our lives, but it’s their entire life and they deserve the best!

Melissa was a great dog sitter. I was away for 3 nights and nervous about leaving the dogs with someone they (and I) did not know. It worked out really well - she is friendly, kind, responsible and very good with the dogs. I have already rebooked her!
Melissa took such great care of our dog Emma while we were away. Not only did she give Emma lots of love and attention, but she took great care of our chickens and our home. Melissa is very reliable, responsive, and overall a very warm and kind person. We felt completely comfortable having her stay at our home and look after our animals. Couldn’t recommend her more! Looking forward to booking her again for our next vacation.
Melissa lovingly cared for Maya while we were away for a weekend. As she's a passionate pet lover we had no doubt that our pet was in good hands when we left. Melissa was punctual, and left our home clean and tidy. I would strongly recommend Melissa to anyone who requires a pet sitter.

Melissa is fantastic with animals! I watched her take care of her own dog for 15+ years while also helping me out with mine. She's extremely attentive and diligent. She's punctual and a great communicator. Melissa cares deeply for the people and animals in her life and will do anything to ensure they are well taken care of. She's also so friendly and generally lovely to be around.

Currently my schedule is flexible and am happy to discuss individual needs. I love going on walks and will be sure to entertain your pet with new routes and lots of time for play!

I am not open to boarding in my own home. However, should you wish to have me care for your pets in your own home I will diligently follow any rules you have laid out. Be sure to check gates and fences in the yard before letting your pet out, securing any garbage that their sneaky noses might find, and following all feeding routines.

I know how important play is for dogs mental stimulation, getting on their level and playing, or throwing a ball for what feels like forever is just as important as getting them out for long walks with lots of opportunities to check out new smells!
