Melissa is a dog lover to the nth degree. She has had several dogs in her care in the past few years and has done an exemplary job. She has walked these dogs with no adverse incidents. She will take good care of anyone else's puppy and get them some good brisk exercise. The owners of the dogs in her care will have nothing to worry about.
Melissa has a heart of love for animals. I have a large Black and Tan Coonhound that loves lots of walks. Melissa was able to have my large dog stay with her and provide the love and attention that he needed. It has become very apparent that they have a special bond. I have seen her connection with 3 other animals (2 dogs and a cat) that leads me to believe that she truly knows how to connect and bond with them in a loving way.

At home, I share life with two wonderful companions: Gus, my gentle Maine Coon mix who became my gardening sidekick after finding me one summer in the Franklin Park neighborhood, and Dennis, my sweet and shy miniature poodle whom I fostered and then adopted. I’ve fostered several dogs this year and have loved and learned from them all. Each has their own story, and together they remind me daily of the joy pets bring into our lives.
