I LOVE animals, and gardening... That's right, I'll keep your plants alive too! I'm experienced with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and even hedgehogs! Open to other critters as well, you'll just have to show me what to do. I can provide lots of cuddles and play time, and I have a history of being very reliable. My background is in medical clinical care. I'm comfortable with medication administration and management. I am now a full-time petsitter and I love my career change 🩺💉 ➡️ 🐈🐕 😍 My preferred locations: Bexley, Downtown, German Village, Grandview, Clintonville, Weinland Park (central Columbus). I may not be the most budget friendly sitter on Rover - but remember, you get what you pay for. I'm extremely professional and reliable, hence the higher rates than some other sitters. Melanie watched little Oliver who just started radiation treatment for a nasal tumor. He was on lots of meds and is a bit special needs. She was comfortable giving all the meds and even dropped him off at Medvet for his radiation treatment as we were flying back that morning. I was anxious to leave him amidst his treatment but had a very special wedding to attend and I'm so grateful for her help!
Melanie was very responsive while we were away. It was great knowing that our pup was in good hands and was able to stay in the comfort of his own home while we were away for the weekend.
Melanie took wonderful care of our girl. Walks, cuddles on the couch, and of course, some adorable photo ops! She spent lots of quality time with her and communicated quickly and effectively with me during the stay. I had no doubts our pup was in wonderful hands!
Melanie was fantastic. She was professional, and a great communicator, giving updates and pictures throughout the week. We came home to very relaxed and happy dogs and cat, and the house in great shape. I wouldn't hesitate to use Melanie in the future and made the Rover experience a great one!

A typical day for your pet(s) and I would involve lots of play and cuddles! I pretty much follow the pet's schedule, as provided by the pet's mom/dad. I would be hoping for some free time during the day to do some local exploring ;) I love evening cuddles with my furry friends, and they are welcome to sleep in bed with me if that's what they like.

Petsitting is my full-time job these days. I love waking up every morning and getting to do what I love. So yes, my life kinda revolves around our furry friends - and I wouldn't have it any other way! Fun fact - I've been on Rover since 2016. Over the years, I've had many clients become great friends of mine. I honestly just love my job 🫶
