I am currently a commuter student at the University of South Florida, so my schedule is very open! I have full availability Friday-Sunday, have class from 3:30 pm-6:15 pm Monday/Wednesday, and have class from 2:00 pm-4:45 pm Tuesday/Thursday.

Maintaining open and frequent communication with pet parents is top priority for me! If a client desires frequent updates or photos of their fur babies I will be more than happy to provide them. I also follow feeding and medication regimens very strictly. Additionally, pets will get outside time as much as possible, and cats will get their litterboxes cleaned routinely. Of course, everybody will also get lots of love, pets and belly rubs! In terms of overnight stays, I do everything in my power to leave the home exactly as it was when I arrived. I also have no problem doing some light cleaning if requested!

Please let me know if your dog had any medications, medical conditions, or strict schedules ahead of a booking! I want to make sure I can give them the best care possible, and make myself aware of their particular needs!
A typical day
First and foremost I believe the best pet vitamin is lots of belly rubs and love! As a student, being able to cuddle up with some furry friends while I do homework is one of my favorite things to do. Long walks and games of fetch help stimulate your pet, and get them ready for a good nights rest. I also love learning new things, and if a pet has a special interest or hobby I’m more than happy to participate!

I have always been an animal lover, and have been watching pets for family and friends for about 5 years. I am available for both in and out of home services, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I currently have one cat, but when I pet sit, it's generally pups! I'm familiar and comfortable with any size and breed, as well as accommodating to any special dietary or medication needs.

Melanie did a great job of taking care of our fur babies while we went on a week long cruise. She treated them with kindness and love, even allowing them to snuggle in bed with her. They were well taken care of and seemed happy and content when we got home.

Melanie was an absolute pleasure!! She took care of my Sadie with such patience and kindness (she’s a bit spoiled). She openly communicated and she even stayed a little after the scheduled time to accommodate my travel arrangements. I hope that she becomes Sadie’s full time sitter!!
