Pet care experience
I have been taking care of others pets since I was 10. I am currently working as a dog trainer and have a lot of knowledge on handling dogs. I can detect body language in a dog like no other.

Mel has watched our two cats on multiple weekends, sometimes single visits and sometimes multi-day visits, and every time she's been great about communicating about her timing and sending an update with photos. She's a pleasure to work with.
Mel was wonderful with my 2 cats over Thanksgiving break. She communicated well about logistics, left notes about how they were doing, and shared a bunch of funny photos each day. The cats seemed comtent. This was our second time with Mel, and we'd definitely ask her to return!
Mel was conscientious and let me know when exactly she'd be stopping in to check on my cats. (I'd said that the time was flexible.) When she first came by to meet my cats, she knew how to give them space to grow comfortable with her.
Mel is amazing and would highly recommend her for complete peace of mind while traveling without your fur babies. We can’t say enough about how much we appreciated her professionalism, expertise and experience in handling our barking dog. She sent daily updates and pictures of our dog and cat that we loved and we look forward to working with her again!

There isnt a whole lot i need to know prior to meeting the dog, just a heads up if your dog is aggressive towards any people or objects.
A typical day
I love to give dogs structured walks because it stimulates their brain a lot especially if you have dedicated sniffing time added into the walk. As far as kitty's I love to play with them if they like playing, or if they love being brushed I will give them all the good brushing. I will also provide excellent snuggles for those rare cats that will snuggle someone that isn't there person.

I am currently working as a dog trainer for From the Heart Dog Services I work between 40-60 hours so I am only able to do drop ins before 8 am or after 7 pm
