I’m Mekala— lifelong animal lover & your pet’s new BFF. 🦴I have been pet sitting professionally for 10 years and have loved every moment of it. 🦜Dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and tiny fur balls— if you name it, I’m here for it! 🐶I have 2 dogs of my own— Angus and Callie. They are my whole world! 💞I grew up with pets of all kinds! Animals have always been part of my family, and I genuinely care for each one I meet.

Mekala is one of the best sitters we’ve had! Our dog LOVED her, she gave awesome and consistent updates, and was very kind.
Mekala provided drop in visits for our cats while we were away. Our kitties were shy and nervous but she was sweet and patient with them, and was always punctual and communicative. Our place was so clean when we got back and the kitties were happy! Definitely recommend Mekala.
Mekala was hands down the best dog sitter we have had for overnights. We left our 3 dogs (each with a very different personality and different needs) for a week and she did an amazing job. After having a bad experience previously with a different dog sitter, I was very nervous leaving them with anybody. Mekala kept me updated all day on the boys and how they were doing and sent pictures every day. I know some people may not appreciate that type of attention and updating while they are away, but I needed it for peace of mind and felt much better about being gone because of it. She's so sweet and the texts were greatly appreciated. Also, we came home to a house that was just as clean as we left it and a very happy group of puppies. She was also able to administer medications to two of our dogs and adjust a medication accordingly for one of our dogs needs. I would love to give her a bad review so nobody will contact her and she'll always be available when I need her, but that would not be fair 😂haha She's amazing. Hire her if you want somebody you can trust in your home and with your babies.
Mekala was wonderful with our dogs and cat! Very communicative, punctual, and spent a lot of time playing and cuddling them. We were able to relax while away knowing they were taken care of. Will definitely hire her next time we are gone!

For 5+ day bookings, I can make arrangements for mid day breaks or hybrid work with enough notice.

🍽️Mealtime matters! Whether it’s special diets, meds, picky eaters, or quirky mealtime rituals, I make sure your pet gets exactly what they need — served with a smile! 🎾Exercise everyday! Whether it’s a jog, a stroll, fetch, or simply mental enrichment, I’m here to keep your pets active & engaged. 🥰 All the cuddles! If your pet likes belly rubs or ear scratches, there will be no shortage of them when I’m aroind!
