From a very young age, I have been a true lover of all animals! I majored in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology at UMASS Amherst. While obtaining my degree, I began working as a veterinary assistant. I worked with a wonderful veterinarian who firmly believed in hands-on training. After working there for a year, I was promoted to Veterinary Technician. I'm highly comfortable around all animals and capable of administering medications (oral, topical, or injectable). After graduation, I moved to California and continued work as a Veterinary Technician at a large animal hospital facility. After three years, I decided to move back east and pursue a career opportunity with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. After a highly competitive application process, I was selected as a Vermont State Game Warden. I attended the VT Police Academy and was certified as a Full Time Police Professional. I was thoroughly background-checked and vetted before obtaining this position. If chosen to be your pet sitter or dog walker, you can rest assured that your pet and your home will be safe and secure in my care. After five years as a Game Warden, I resigned to be a full-time stay-at-home Mama. This allows my schedule to be extremely flexible and accommodating. I offer more than just pet sitting and dog walking--I can accommodate requests for assistance at vet/grooming visits, farm sitting, yard clean-up, hotel room visits, exotic animal care...you name it.
