Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs since I was about 10, starting with my neighbors. Since then, I have watched family members' dogs over weekend trips, and friends' dogs over longer vacations. I love getting outside, and I'm looking forward to helping make sure your pets continue to receive excellent care while you are away! 😊

I can’t say enough great things about Meghan! She helped us out last minute, and we were so grateful for her quick response and flexibility. She is extremely competent and made the whole process stress-free. Our dog had the best time staying with her, and her dog, Loki, was the perfect playmate. Meghan sent us frequent updates and adorable photos, which made us feel at ease while we were away. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog boarder.

Care plan: I am happy to use whatever system you already have in place. If your dog likes to play fetch in the backyard, great! If you don't have a fence and your dog needs a walk every day, no problem! If you would like your dog to be socialized at a dog park, I am experienced in supervising dogs at the dog park as well. My pup: We have a Golden Retriever pup who loves meeting new people and other dogs (2 years old in March 2025) He's been through 12 weeks of puppy classes through Dog Gone Problems. He plays really well with many different dogs, and has had practice sharing his space without any troubles 😊

I would love to know the energy level of your dog! I feel confident I can match any level, but if I should bring my running shoes, let me know! If your dog has a special schedule they follow, or if you would like me to continue working on new training techniques, I am happy to help. Additionally, if your dog is taking medications, I can help with oral meds or even eye drops. I do not have experience with injections and would prefer to avoid them.
A typical day
I love walking dogs, so there will be at least one walk each day, possibly two of your dog is up for it! I like to make sure we switch routes up to keep your dog stimulated thought the walk. I have worked with dogs learning new commands, or older dogs brushing up on their skills, and if you are interested in that, I am happy to bring along some trainer treats for the walks! I have a pass for Platte River State Park, and I love hiking through there. If I am watching your dog over a fair wether weekend, with your approval, we can enjoy a car ride and some great hikes!

Availability
Schedule: I currently work full time from home, so I will be able to spend the whole day with your pup for boarding and house sitting 😊 I live with my partner, Dylan, who is a fellow dog lover and helps with potty breaks and walks in the evenings. We have loved watching dogs in our home, and hope to continue meeting and caring for pups!
