Your Pup’s New Best Friend

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have cared for pups of every size—from tiny lap dogs to 100+ lb gentle giants. Over the years I’ve trained all of my own dogs and have often been asked to help friends with training their pups as well. Because of this, I’m comfortable with puppies who need guidance, high-energy dogs who need stimulation, and seniors who need patience and extra care. I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking dogs on hikes, to the water, and to local parks to give them a fun, stimulating day. Whether your dog prefers adventure or a slow, sniff-filled walk, I’m great at reading their energy and adapting. I’m reliable, calm, safety-focused, and treat every dog as if they’re my own. My goal is always to make sure your pup feels comfortable, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away.

Meg was absolutely PHENOMENAL! We felt super comfortable having her in our home, she sent lots of updates to keep us in the loop with what her and Roxy were doing and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!!!

We’re really grateful for the incredible care Meg gave our two Mexican rescue dogs, who both have trauma and mobility challenges. Leaving our pups was not easy but right away we saw the dogs were very comfortable and trusted Meg. Meg is patient, gentle and calm. She handled medication administration and mobility issues with genuine care and compassion. We received regular texts and photos every day and we truly felt completely at ease our entire trip. If you’re looking for someone who doesn’t just “watch” your pets but truly cares for them — especially those with special needs — we cannot recommend Meg highly enough! Meg is incredible!

Megan is great! She was on time, friendly, and asked lots of questions to get to know our dog. We will not hesitate to have her walk him again.

We had a meet and greet the week before and we felt very comfortable to be leaving our dog with Megan. She was very prompt in replying with any questions and she kept us updated with photos and texts. We'll definitely ask Megan to care for our dog in the future.

Megan was great. Took excellent care of our cat. She gave us regular updates, was responsive, and the place was spotless when we returned.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I currently work part-time, which means I’m home often and have plenty of availability throughout the day and evening to care for your pup. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, last-minute bookings, and longer stays. I love getting outside, so fitting in walks, adventures, and playtime is part of my daily routine already. Whether your dog needs midday potty breaks, afternoon hikes, or a calm, consistent presence in the evenings, I’m able to adjust to what works best for them. Your pup will get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship whenever they’re with me.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a cozy apartment just minutes from a quiet beach, peaceful parks, and several hiking trails—perfect for dogs who love exploring or simply enjoying fresh air. Many pups have claimed the ocean-view couch as their favourite nap spot, snuggled up in blankets while watching the water. I also have a car and plenty of experience taking dogs on fun adventures a little farther from home when owners are comfortable with that. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pup will be my full focus. Whether they need structure or a safe, calm spot to relax, I’m very comfortable with crate training and creating a consistent routine that helps dogs feel secure. My building has an elevator as well, making it easy and comfortable for senior dogs or pups with mobility challenges. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’m respectful and attentive to your space. I always double-check that doors, gates, and areas dogs shouldn’t access stay closed, and I follow your household routines to keep your pup feeling safe and settled. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, my goal is to make sure they feel relaxed, loved, and completely at home.

A typical day

Your pup will get a mix of fresh air, exercise, and brain-boosting fun. We’ll go for walks to explore new smells around the neighbourhood, parks, or the beach nearby. I love adding simple enrichment games like “find it” treat hunts, puzzle toys, basic obedience practice, and light training to keep their minds engaged. Depending on your dog’s energy level, we might play fetch, enjoy a longer adventure, or relax for some cozy downtime. I’m happy to follow any training or routines you already have in place so your pup stays comfortable and consistent. My goal is to give each dog the perfect balance of activity, enrichment, and calm—so they feel happy and fulfilled while you’re away.

Before I watch your pup, let me know anything that helps me care for them best—things like their routine, energy level, quirks, fears, or any reactivity. I’d also love to know their favorite activities, training cues you use, and any house rules you want me to follow. If they have allergies, meds, or special care needs, just fill me in. The more I know, the more comfortable and happy your pup will be with me!
