I have loved and had dogs all my life. Having a dog pause during my college and apartment renting years, but now that we have a home with the space and my boys are old enough, I am ready to fill our home with the joy of a dog again! I have had big dogs, small dogs, blind dogs, elderly dogs. I know they are like another member of the family and will care for them as if they are my own when they are in my home.

Megan was amazing. Kept me updated on my pup. It was raining quite hard when I got there and she came out with Sasha to meet me. Her boys were great with Sasha.
Megan is a great sitter; super kind and very accommodating. She provides tons of pictures and updates every day and is reliable with administering medicine and reading directions. Her kids seemed very sweet and gentle and I got the vibe they gave my dog the perfect amount of attention(not too much not too little). I would deffinately use Megan again, she's one of the best I've ever used.
Murphy had a great stay with Megan and her two kids. Lots of long walks and snuggles on the couch and daily updates with pictures. A fantastic home for our dog while we were gone!
Megan was very caring and she made sure Coco got good exercise but was not exhausted. I felt so good leaving Coco , who is older and has joint issues, with Megan. Megan shared pictures and we loved it. Big thanks Megan💕

I have a fenced in yard that I can let the dogs use but I keep the door open or like to sit out with them in the yard in case they are nervous with pedestrians or other dogs. They are free to roam the downstairs of the house, though I try to keep them from exploring the bedrooms upstairs (this can be determined on a case by case basis). Their food will be kept in the dining room and their beds will be kept in the living room. I will walk them 3 times per day and on the weekends may take them for longer nature walks if okay with owners.

As I have young children in the home, it is important for me to know your pet's comfort level with children and what boundaries I need to prepare my kids for ahead of time. I also kindly need to know how they inform you of their potty needs and typical schedule at home.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks through the neighborhood or on a nature trail. We spend as much time as we can outside either in the fenced in yard or out on adventures. In the evening, they will get lots of cuddles from me and my boys as we wind down for the evening.

Availability
I am currently working part-time and remote, so I am in the home most days. When we are watching your pet, there will always be a grown up home and more often than not, two kids. I am flexible with my work schedule and able to do a morning walk, afternoon walk and evening walk. We have a fenced in back yard if they need a quick potty break. I am home every evening to snuggle.
