I love animals and exercise!
Hello:) I am a very out-going and friendly person and animals (along with most humans:)) usually like me. And I love all animals! I do not have professional experience with dogs but I frequently dog-sit and walk for family and friends. I love being outside and exercising...and it makes it even better to have a friend with me. I currently have a job at a local nursery during the months of April-October but am still available at some point of every day, it is less than a mile from my home. Megan and her family take such great care of our little Toasty and gives us so many updates and pictures!
Megan was awesome. She kept me updated regularly and sent lots of pictures.
I think the most important piece of information in a review of this kind is whether I would use Megan again to watch my dog. The answer to that is a definite 'YES.' My dog, Oscar, is generally pretty slow to warm up to new people, especially when I'm not around. Coupling that with a very recent relocation to the Detroit area, I was a bit nervous (neurotic?) about leaving him with a stranger. Although I was only gone about 40 hours, Oscar seemed to do really well with Megan. He got a lot of exercise and attention, which I think made a lot of difference with him. Megan has a great backyard and lives close to a great park as well. Megan was also great with communication. I am sure she could sense my apprehensions, and I really appreciated her setting my mind at ease with updates. In short, I'm not sure there was a better situation for Oscar or me.
Megan went above and beyond with my pup! She sent pictures all weekend, sent me multiple updates per day and was SO sweet and understand about my dogs anxiety. She gave him just as much love as we do at home, and Megan will absolutely be my go-to for both of my dogs from here on out!
Megan was the absolute best sitter! She was so sweet to our dog and provided lots of updates/walks. Highly recommend
This was our first time using Meagan for our 2 cats. She did a great job communicating with us and even with requests to help with packages/mail while we were away. She also was super awesome and took the cat trash out for us before we came home! We finally found someone in our area to help out when we are out of town! Thank you!

Zeitplan
Update! I am a new mother. I had a beautiful baby boy in November 2023. We are still boarding dogs as usual. Our son is almost 2 years old now and has been around dogs since birth. He has been taught to be "gentle" and I never let him out of my sight when we have a dog in the house. I still start my day relatively early as Chris leaves for work around 5am. I can provide multiple daily walks if needed and also love to cuddle and be lazy too if that's what your dog prefers:)

About our home: I live with my long-term boyfriend, Chris, and our 2 year old son, Romeo. We have a big fenced yard and live a block away from a nice park as well. Dogs are still allowed and welcome on furniture and in bed and we will do everything in our power to make your baby more comfortable during their stay here.
Ein typischer Tag
We will go for walks around the neighborhood and at the nearby park. We can also play fetch in our yard or just be lazy and cuddle all day. I can easily adjust my own energy level to match your dogs needs.
