Pet care experience
Our family has experience owning, fostering, & training puppies to seniors and a variety of breeds. We recently attended obedience classes with our own dog at Better Companion Dog Training Facility.

We have a half-acre of unfenced yard with woods and lawn. Our own dog runs free on the property with a wireless fence perimeter. We are open to taking dogs out on leash or putting them out on a long line. Our neighborhood is quiet, large lots, dog friendly, and great for walks. We have a large house with lots of space. Our dog is a 9 month old, playful, crate trained, well behaved, and well socialized golden retriever/german shepherd mix who loves to have doggie friends to visit. We are saving our pennies to add a fenced dog area on our property.

A typical day
We spend a lot of time outside in our yard and have a great neighborhood for walks. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. I love teaching a practicing new skills such as “play dead” or “shut the door.”

Availability
Meg is a stay-at-home-mom so dogs are almost always supervised and can be let out and/or walked often. We have a big 12-passenger van if we want to take dogs along for adventures.
