Ever since I was little, animals have always been a huge part of my life. While other kids dreamed of being princesses, I dreamed of working with animals—and I’ve followed that passion ever since. Over the years, I’ve fostered everything from tiny kittens and injured cats to high-energy pups and shy rescues. I’ve worked in pet nutrition, managed a boarding facility, and now run my own small-scale boarding operation—BARC—right here on the property where we live. We are not a traditional in-home sitter setup. Our guests stay in a climate-controlled building just steps away from our house, with spacious 4x4 kennels, 24/7 camera monitoring, and plenty of enrichment. Dogs get lots of playtime—either in supervised groups or solo, depending on their needs—and lots of love from us. My husband and I live on-site and care for the dogs ourselves. We're small by design so we can give every dog attention and keep the environment safe, clean, and calm. Because we have dogs of our own and are always working with guest pups, we no longer offer in-person meet and greets. However, we're more than happy to send a video walkthrough of our setup so you can feel confident your dog will be well cared for.
