Growing up, I was surrounded by animals and always had cats in the home, along with guinea pigs. When I moved into my own place, I adopted my first dog, Leela, and later welcomed a chinchilla into my family as well. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I truly love caring for pets, which led me to adopt a second dog, Millie (pictured in my profile). I adopted Millie as a puppy, so I am very comfortable with puppy care, training basics, and the patience young dogs require. Since then, life has brought some changes. Following a move from Omaha, Nebraska to South Carolina and becoming a new mother, my personal pets are no longer in my care—Leela now lives with my former partner, and Millie was lovingly rehomed with another family when balancing a newborn became overwhelming. My chinchilla was also adopted by a new home due to the relocation. I am currently a stay-at-home mom without pets of my own, which allows me to be flexible, attentive, and fully present when caring for your pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment.

Maya is a very dependable caregiver and pet lover. She has always had a special place in her heart for all animals since she was little. She grew around farm animals as kid and was responsible for taking care of them and doing chores so she’s always been responsible and took her love for animals very seriously! She has pet sit for me on multiple occasions and I have 2 large dogs and 2 cats and they were all very well taken care of! I personally trust her with all of my animals and Maya is a great choice for this job!
Maya is a truly wonderful, caring human full of compassion and love for her family, friends, and pets. She has lovingly cared for animals ranging from cats and dogs to guinea pigs. I would absolutely trust her with my senior rescue dog, who is wary of most people, but feels safe and comfortable with Maya.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, as pet care through Rover is my full-time gig. This allows me to accommodate a wide range of needs, including weekday, weekend, and last-minute requests. I’m able to adjust my availability to fit your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care, whether that means drop-ins, extended visits, or customized schedules.
