I will give the dog the attention it needs, and help it to feel at ease. Dogs relax with me very quickly and will get all the cuddles they desire! I usually allow dogs on my couch, but if you want me to train them a certain way (like staying on the floor) that is fine too, of course. At my home we do have stairs, but of course I will carry the dog if needed. We have safety fences for babies and dogs on every floor.

I do have some requirements of your dog(s): - Not neurotic - Well socialized (especially dogs & children) - Can walk freely without leash - Comes when name is called (or other signal used) - Behaves: no jumping up at people - Can walk stairs Please let me know about any special needs up front, and discuss details, so we are on the same page about that.
A typical day
If possible and allowed by you, we will drive to the Dutch forests or dunes for as many hours as the dogs like. Close to our house is a wonderful dog park where we will go every day in the morning and the evening.

I charge a bit more, but I think its definitely worth it. Please read on if you're interested ;) About me? Well, I can say that we had many dogs in the family over the years, and I’ve always had a way them. Teaching dogs the basics comes easy to me, and I love learning about owners and their dogs. Operating from intuition and trust, I am predictable and consistent, which makes them feel safe. On another note, I am retired and love to be outside in nature and have adventures together. Almost every day I go for a walk in the Dutch forests or sand dunes. Usually some friends will tag along. Everybody loves cruising the country roads in my Tesla model S with free electricity ;) I am not bragging here, but merely expressing my daily gratitude for what it enables us to do. It has a big trunk with a dog fence and room for one huge, or two midsized dogs :) Now, imagine your dog(s) being tended to every day, and being together outside most of the time, coming home with me in our beautiful house with kind and loving people, where they are massaged and cuddled. About multi-day stays: if you want your dog(s) to have a stable rhythm and a peaceful home at night, then that can be arranged. And if you like the idea of us going on a camping trip, then that would be quite the adventure ;) Did I mention I have Apple AirTags (with my phone number on them) to track the dogs? I could even share the dogs' location so you can see where we are ;)

Mijn ervaring is dat als Maurice jouw hond mee op stap neemt dat hij lekker naar het bos of de duinen gaat. En zomaar een paar uur aan het rennen, spelen of aan het wandelen is. Geen moeite is hem te veel. Hij is echt beschikbaar en zal de hond zeker weten een top tijd te bezorgen. Maar hij geeft ook duidelijkheid en structuur. En veel liefde en genegenheid.. lekker op schoot, knuffels en kroelen. De hondentaal begrijpen gaat Maurice natuurlijk af en dat zie je terug in dat er in korte tijd een vertrouwensband ontstaat. Kortom ik kan het van harte aanbevelen!
