I work part time one day per week and pet drop in visits are my prime focus. My schedule is very flexible. I can work with you based upon your needs.

I think is crucial to do a meet and greet before caring for your pet. We want to see if they are comfortable with me and me with them. Dogs over 100 lbs are not for me as I'm 125 lbs and feel they would be walking me instead of me taking them for a walk, LOL! I'd love to know where he or she loves to get their special rubs and scratches because we all know they do, what their favourite toys are, and whether they love (like my Kit) to play ball. Do's and don'ts are always important to know of as well. I really love and enjoy all breeds. As long as they're friendly that's all I care about. I don't do well with biters but who does ;)

I have 30 years experience not only taking care of our most beloved pets, (dogs and cats). Finding a caregiver for your pet is not easy. I understand that. Rest assured that with your pet in my care, you can feel confident he or she is getting the best attention, love, and exercise, with photos and videos sent to you each visit. Over the years I have been so privileged to have three dogs (Kit 3 yrs old is my current rescue pup), Keatie (a high energy, whip-smart and loving Jack Russell), and Murphy, our lovely Golden Retriever. All three different types and size dogs but the sweetest dogs! I've also been the proud human Mom to two kitty cats, Smokie and Bandit. They, along with Keatie and Murphy,are in four-footed heaven looking down upon me and Kit as we live our lives together. In a day where it's not easy to find consistent, reliable people you can trust within your home, you'll be assured of a great experience with me as your pet's caregiver. Your dog, cat, or birds will be happy with me and I fully guarantee that! With that said, I leave you with this wonderful quote, source unknown. "To err is human, to forgive, is canine." Maureen visited with Chloe 3 times last week. She was very calm and confident from the beginning. We knew they would become friends quickly. One thing that Maureen did that was impressive was kneeling down to Chloe’s level when they first met. Chloe was barking as usual, but then stopped, sniffed , and turned around as if to say “you’re a friend”. We have made plans to have Maureen return on our next vacation.
Maureen is great with the dog! She is sweet, patient and is willing to help out. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
My name is Carol G.. I have know Maureen D. for 7 years. The first time Maureen came to my home my dogs greeted Maureen like she was an old friend. They met her at the door with the usual dog greetings. Then they followed her into my living room. She immediately sat on the floor and started petting them and playing with them. My boy Beni even brought her his favorite toy. Ever visit from Maureen brings the puppy out of two older chihuahuas. Maureen's dog, Kit, is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Kit is playful and full of love. I hear about their walking adventures and playtime. And Kit is quite the ball catcher. I believe that Maureen would do a great job walking dogs. Maureen has been taking care of my dogs Kuma and Mina for quite some time. She is such a natural at what she does, providing them with affection, love, fun walks, and pretty much anything that I’ve asked her to do for my dogs. If I had to rate her on a 1 to 10 scale, it would definitely be a 10.
