Currently I am working full time in the veterinary clinic and due to emergencies and surgical schedules my schedule can be a little weird. For this reason I am not always available on the same days. But I keep my calendar updated so if I am marked open feel free to book! If ever there is a scheduling conflict I will reach out with ample time so you can find another sitter!

I believe in fear free care for animals and let them tell me what they’re comfortable with me doing. I personally own two dogs that are behavioral cases. One being very high energy with severe anxiety and the other an aggressive dog with unpredictable tendencies around strangers. Because of this and other animals in clinic I have become very aware how to read canine and feline body language and know when they are telling me "no!" I believe if an animal does not want to do something they never should have to unless it is for their own good. Your pets will never be put into dangerous situations!

For canines a good walk is always a great way to start the day! If you pet is up to date on their vaccines the dog park or other public spaces to get some socialization in would be something I would love to do with some pets! At home a good game of fetch or even just a quick snuggle on the couch, whatever they prefer! For our kitties and good laser or chase game would be a good way to start. Maybe some mind work with a nice puzzle toy or just some sun bathing and gossiping! I know cats love to gossip!

Highly recommend Mattie if you want the best care for your fur babies. My dogs are all rescues and anxious with new people, they immediately took to her and get so excited when she comes. Two of my dogs have health problems and require medication, Mattie never misses a dose. Having Mattie to check in on my girls has made them happier when I am not home and gives me peace of mind knowing how much they love her visits and aren’t being left alone for 8+ hours a day. Mattie gives frequent updates anytime she’s with my girls and they get the best attention and snuggles.
