Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've been independently responsible for my own dogs for the past 11 years. I've cared for dogs ranging from small breeds to 75+ lb dogs of my own, with experience around dogs over 100 lbs as well. I've raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years and understand how much their needs, personalities and routines can change along the way. My experience includes daily walks and exercise, feeding, bathing and grooming, oral and topical medications, vet appointments, and caring for an aging dog through serious illness. Most importantly, I understand that someone's dog isn't just a pet. They're family. I'll treat yours with the same patience, attention and care I treat my own family.

Programa
My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits and house sitting throughout the week. I’m available most mornings, afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends, and I’m happy to work with you to maintain the routine your pet is already comfortable with.

I provide care primarily in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors, gates and leashes secure, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. I’m also happy to take the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routine and boundaries before providing care.

Every dog is different, so I’ll tailor our time together to their normal routine, personality and energy level. That might mean a long walk, playing fetch or tug, exploring the neighborhood, some backyard playtime, or simply hanging out and keeping them company. I’m also happy to reinforce commands and routines they already know. My goal is for your dog to have some fun, get plenty of attention and exercise, and be happy and relaxed when you get home.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d like to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, energy level, favorite activities and any medical or mobility needs. Please also let me know about any fears, triggers, allergies, behavioral concerns or reactivity toward other dogs, animals or people. I’d also like to know what commands they understand, their leash habits and anything else that helps me understand their personality. The more I know about what makes your pet comfortable, happy and safe, the better I can care for them.
